Health centres generally only
renew the prescriptions of patients who are treated at the
health centre for an illness. Prescriptions written at the
health centre can be dropped in the prescription box for
renewal. Renewed prescriptions can be picked up at the
health centre office. (Proof of identity or a Kela card is
required.) Allow one week for the renewal process.
If you have not seen a doctor for over two years, you
should discuss your medication with a doctor in person
before renewing your prescription.
Prescriptions are supplied on the phone only in
extraordinary situations.
For more information take contact your local
health centre.
