Open early education consists of guided activities for
children who are cared for at home. The activities support
families that do not require full-time daycare for their
children but care for the children at home. This is also a
good alternative to full-time daycare when one or both
parents are at home. Families may be eligible for child
homecare allowance or private care allowance.

Open daycare centres

organise activities according to the wishes and needs of the
participating families. These include music, play, games and
crafts.
Children, their daily needs and life in general are also
discussed in the open daycare centres. The fee for open
daycare centres is €36.70 per family per term.
